Hi, I’m Alexandru Cretu.
I created Cretu Digital after more than nine years working in the pharma industry across digital products, Data Sciences, business processes and automation.
A large part of my work has always sat between two worlds: understanding how people actually work and figuring out how technology can make that work better. Not technology presentations. Not innovation for the sake of innovation. Actual workflows, actual users and solutions that have to work after they are implemented.
Cretu Digital is my way of bringing that experience to individuals, independent professionals and small businesses.

AI changed what a very small team, or even one person, can build.
Tasks that previously needed expensive software projects can increasingly be automated, connected or supported with AI. At the same time, the number of tools has exploded, and it has become surprisingly easy to spend money on technology without actually improving anything. That is the opportunity I want Cretu Digital to work on.
Sometimes the answer is AI. Sometimes it is automation. Sometimes it is connecting two tools properly. And sometimes the best answer is simply changing the way something is done.
Teddy & Brian
Teddy & Brian
I did not want Cretu Digital to only talk about AI. I wanted to build with it. That is why I created Teddy and Brian, two AI assistants I use as part of Cretu Digital itself.
Teddy focuses on administration, workflows and recurring operational work.
Brian focuses on data, analysis, research and more technical AI tasks.
They are built with a privacy-first approach and run in my own working environment on my computer, rather than existing as generic public AI tools. That gives me greater control over how information is handled, what stays local and when external services are or are not used. They are also the foundation for something I want Cretu Digital to offer clients: personalized AI assistants built around a person or business rather than another generic chatbot. Depending on the need, those systems can use cloud AI, private infrastructure or run locally where greater control and privacy over information is required.

You work directly with me.
I understand the problem with you, design the solution and stay involved in building it.
When specialist technology or external services are useful, I use them. When something can be done more simply, I will say so.
The point is not to make a project bigger.
The point is to make the result useful.
