Website hosting and Google services

The Cretu Digital website is currently provided using Google Sites and may use other Google Workspace services for business communication, scheduling and administration.

When these services are used, information may be processed by Google as a service provider and may be processed on infrastructure located outside Switzerland.

Cretu Digital remains responsible for the personal data it controls when external service providers are used and selects services with data protection and security considerations in mind. Swiss data protection guidance specifically notes that businesses remain responsible when personal data processing is outsourced to cloud or other service providers.

Analytics

Cretu Digital may use basic website analytics to understand how the website is used, for example which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the site.

Analytics are used to improve the website and understand whether its content is useful. They are not used to build advertising profiles, and Cretu Digital does not sell website usage information for advertising purposes.

Where analytics or other non-essential tracking technologies are used, visitors will be informed about their use and provided with appropriate controls where required.

Depending on the project, solutions may instead use local systems, private infrastructure or other privacy-oriented configurations.

Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship may be deleted when they are no longer needed.
